BétonFlex Installation Instructions
Seven simple steps for a successful installation.

Surface preparation
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and stable.
Remove any dust, grease or loose particles.
Correct any major irregularities in the substrate. - 2
Taking measurements
Accurately measure the surface to be covered.
Transfer the dimensions onto the Artmur panel. - 3
Cutting
Cut the panel to the required dimensions.
Use a utility knife or an angle grinder. - 4
Applying the adhesive
Apply a Premium Mortar type adhesive using double buttering (on the back of the panel and on the surface to be covered).
Use a notched trowel for even coverage.Premium Mortar, recommended adhesive.

Installing the panel
Carefully position the panel on the substrate.
Press evenly to ensure full contact.
If needed, hold in place with mechanical fasteners until fully cured. - 6
Adjusting the joints
Check the alignment between panels.
Adjust the joints to achieve a uniform finish. - 7
Finishing
Clean off any excess adhesive.
Make any necessary touch-ups on the joints.
Let cure according to the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations.
Finishes
For a more uniform look, some models can be painted. Recommended paint: Benjamin Moore AURA® Exterior (100% acrylic, high performance).
For models that may lose their concrete effect, we instead recommend finishing with a water-based stone sealer such as Techniseal, to protect the porous surface against water, oil and dirt stains (« Techniseal », water-based stone sealer, invisible protection).
