ARTMUR promises to beat competitors' prices. It is also a way for ARTMUR to show its loyalty to its customers. Shoppers who focus on savings know that proof of a competitor's lower price can not only get a price adjustment, but can also result in an additional discount.

How to obtain a price adjustment at ARTMUR?

Two scenarios can happen to you at ARTMUR.

1) You can find a lower price before purchasing.

2) You have already purchased from ARTMUR and you see a lower price elsewhere.

Let's see what you should do in each of these two cases.

If you are ready to purchase an item from ARTMUR, but found a lower price from a competitor, follow these 4 simple steps:

Make a copy of the competitor's offer (either a copy in your telephone device or a printed copy).
Come to our storage or send us an email
Show us the competitor's offer for the same product. You can showcase the product on the competitor's website (view on your smartphone)
Once we determine it is a match, we will match the price and add a 10% discount.

If you have previously purchased an item from ARTMUR and found a lower price from a competitor, you can get a refund for the difference by following these steps:

Come see us at our branch within 30 days of purchase with your receipt in hand, otherwise contact us by email if you are outside of Greater Montreal.
Show us the competitor's offer.
Once determined that the item qualifies, we will price match the lowest offer and add 10% off the lowest price.

As a result, the price match program includes 3 things you need to know: identical product , local competitor , exclusions . Let's see them below

What is an identical product?

Before you claim your price match, you need to know what an “identical product” is. This is an important detail so that your request is not refused.

The identical article is therefore:

an item with the same features, applicable warranty, size, currently available for sale at a lower retail price from a competitor.
a new product, in its original packaging (open box or used product will not be accepted).
a product that is not in the exclusion list (see below).

Who is a local competitor?

ARTMUR has a specific description of “local competitor”. We also need to know this definition before requesting a price match. A local competitor is therefore:

A retail store located in Canada, within 200 km of the store where you are requesting the price adjustment.
Any Canadian online retailer website with a domain ending in “.ca”

What is excluded from the price match policy?

In certain circumstances, the price match program will not work.

Here are the exclusions:

Physical retail store with the lowest price located more than 200 km from where you are requesting price matching.
Websites of online retailers outside of Canada
Articles with typographical or advertising errors or misprints.
Used, damaged, refurbished, returned, opened or displayed merchandise.

There is also a long list of exclusions with very specific use cases. These offers and discounts below are not eligible for price matching.

Wholesale items
Discounts offered for volume purchases
Offers requiring the purchase of more than one item or free offers with the purchase of an additional product (Ex. “Buy one, get one free” sales)
Postal discounts, scratch and save discounts, gifts with purchase or prepaid cards
Credit or financing programs offered by competitors
Prices offered by competitors with their financing methods such as store credit cards.
Prices for bankruptcy, closing, liquidation, discontinuation or liquidation of a competitor, or any other sale where quantities are limited.
Discounts or any other type of promotional offer offered by any party in connection with the sale of gift cards
Discounts, gift certificates, coupons or credits of any kind offered by coupon issuers not actually providing the product or service
Buy-and-get promotions (for example: spend $200 and get a $20 gift card)
Post-purchase price matches during special sales events like Black Friday or E-Monday
